Diego rose up through the ranks performing in several rock/metal bands in the underground scene of Milan (Italy) over the years before joining the Italian rap/metalcore band Mellowtoy in 2013 where he spent time touring Italy and Europe.

A few years later he met Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati (bass player of Lacuna Coil) while Marco was producing Mellowtoy’s last release “Lies” (released by Scarlet Records). In 2015 he left Mellowtoy and took an opportunity to join Lacuna Coil as the official live guitar player for the entire “Delirium” world tour (Century Media/Sony)

Diego has also had the fortune of recording alongside some other great players such as Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) and Mark Vollelunga (Nothing More)

Diego left Lacuna Coil in 2024 and is now part of the Italian band Inverno.
