About Salim Zahra
Salim Zahra was born in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1980. He took guitar and bass sessions with George Issa, Walif Ayoubi, Amadeus Awad and Elie Afif, big Lebanese names. Started playing bass in 1997 with a grunge band called "Rebels" and later on in 1998 with a thrash metal band called "Neoblood”. He is the founder of "Solitaire", a music school and a progressive metal band. He was the official bassist of Ragheb Alama and Haifa Wehbe as well as a bass/guitar sessionist with many others like Kazem El Saher, Walid Toufic, Maya Nehme, Madeleine Matar, Wissam El Amir, Asmara, Alex Band, Beirut Vibes , Bandage and Aliens.He is the Instruments Garage Tripoli branch manager. In the end of 2013 he started recording his own EP Album: Illusions. He is currently playing Guitar/Bass/Synthesizer with his own band named “Salim Zahra Project”, playing with WAM group, and started working on his new album: The tourist.
