This seems a bit weird. I have an v2 ID core 10 new a delivered week or two ago. It is a replacement for another identical unit which had the same problem.

The prob is that the emulated output has a lowish but unacceptable digital whining noise when connected to a mixer. The problem is not there when listening on headphones or through the speaker. The noise is evident with the gain and master high or turned to zero; with or without a guitar plugged in. I have swapped the cable, tried a different mixer, and moved the unit to another location.

What seems odd is that both amps have exactly the same problem. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Or is this 'an undocumented feature'? Although they replaced the amp initially without hesitation PMT Leeds are new squirming and head office didn't call me back today as they promised.

It's a shame because the sound through my mixer / studio monitors is otherwise really pretty good for silent midnight recording.

Try using a DI box between the mixer. Heres what I use. ... lBbFSMRKYF

Passive ones are a lot cheaper though if you're on a budget.
