I'd like to start using my Blackstar HT1R for recording - nothing too serious, just as a learning aid. It seems that the most convenient thing to do would be to connect the emulated output to my PC, but I'm a little confused about how to go about this. I don't have an interface yet, but I understand that it's best to have one between the amp and computer. With this in mind I was looking at buying the Audient iD4 which could apparently be connected to the amp using a TRS cable. However, I'm not sure this would work, as apparently the emulated output on the HT1R is in stereo?

Does anyone have any suggested interfaces and ways of going about connecting all these components? I'm afraid I'm very new to all this!
