I'm a Mesa Boogie user since 92 and Fender original blackface amps before that. I play about 100 gigs a
year. I love my Boogie but it lacks audio taper on the low master volume settings. It is either loud or off.

I needed lower stage volumes and was going to get an Meas Express 5:50 plus but I took chance on the HT-5R. So far so good. Right now I just mic it. I haven't tried the line out. The only issue with the HT-5R is the overdrive channel produces a lot of hiss. But the clean channel sounds good and I get any dirt from either the Rat or Visual Sound overdrive on my pedalboard.

So far so good. I like the volume level, size, weight and the PRICE. Hopefully it holds up well.
