Hey thanks. I know it won't hurt the amp but didn't to play the guessing game. Korg is blk* distributer and the gave me 5 service centers to call and no luck.

Well according to the specs, the S1 104's and 200 all have 4 ECC83's and 1 ECC82. I am guessing the Ecc82 (12AU7) is the phase inverter and it is best to be balanced! So, each of the 4 ECC83 governs a channel? Because I love the clean and crunch on my S1 but not OD1 & 2 so much, so I would start expermineting with tubes that affects those channels.....otherwise I will go "EVERYTHING JJ" and let it be

Ok, here's the skinny. On the 1046L6, looking from the front, starting from left we have...

V3,V4,V5,V1,V2

The V1 is the 'AU7, V2 thru V5 are all 'AX7

Don't think so as I think the combo's only got a 4 valve pre amp

As for me, i was so stupid to remove the preamp tubes without even taking note about the order. I was trying to clean up the inside since it got so dusty and wanted to wipe the tubes as well. Now I can't figure out where the 12AU7/ECC82 for the phase inverter goes. Anybody know which position it goes? If I'm looking in front of the amp where the input is, Is it V1, V2, V3, V4 from left to right, V4 being closest to the transformers? This is the Series one 100 head by the way. Does the ECC82 go to the V2 spot and is my order right? Any info is much appreciated.
