Hi there,

Can anybody help me out please. I'm trying to get some Information about preamp tube position on my Blackstar S1-104 6L6 amp. There are 5 preamp tubes, and one of them is a ECC82. I want to Change V1 with a highgrade 7025 and make sure the ECC82 is installed in the right position. Unfortunately there is no marking on the Chassis and no tube Chart in the Manual.I would appreciate it very much if someone could help me. Thanks a lot!

Cheers, Seb

The markings are usually on the PCB board itself.

From left to right in front of the amplifier
V3, V4, V5, V1, V2

V2 is the ECC83 closest to the transformer and is actually the PI. The ECCC82 is next to it (V1) and is a buffer for the PI. So technically, you want to swap out V3, which would be the clean channel.
