Hi. Series One 50 watt head: I need to purchase a new RS232 DB9 cable for the footswitch. Does anyone know if the length of cable has any impact on switching latency? Thank you

Electrical signals travel at around 5000 kph (3000 mph). So there won't be any latency issues.

What you will run into is the maximum length that RS-232 signals can travel without signal degradation. That length will depend on the data rate of the signalling. Assuming a median speed of 9600 bps, you'll net about 15 m (50 ft).
