Im trying to find a good Santana type sound, or even the sound of the guitar on the old Tom Robertson hit "2 4 6 8 Motorway".
Im using a LP staight into my Blackstar ID260TVP. The sounds are either all too harsh and thin (solid statey) or too muddy ?

does anyone have any setting they can guide me to to get me started ?

Thanks

It's a modeler, so it's gonna sound a little solid state. If you want a fuller tone go all tube.

Thanks for the reply 8len8.
I already have a HT40 tube which I love, but Im looking to buy a solid state back up amp "just incase" for when Im out gigging, but Im looking for something that will still get me "close" to the sound. The 260TVP seems to have "too many options" to be able to quickly dial in a sound :)

Pick up an HT5R.

Incredible backup amp. Love mine.
