its been sometime since i dropped in….just thought i come by and say howdo to any ole timers that are still around since this forum started. i figured there might be a few still in here…

been really busy for the last year and a half or so gigging hard and traveling around with 2 different bands.
wanted to nix any worries about the durability of the venue series amps - some of you may remember i used to play through a stage 60 with a 2x12 ext cab for a while - well i traded that in a while back and now use 50watt and 100watt venue series heads through Marshall cabs.
these 2 heads have performed flawlessly on the road in every way and not let me down once!
i constantly get compliments on the tones from other players and bandmates and even convinced our bass player to get a club 40 combo for noodling around

my pedalboard uses no distortion or overdrive pedals anymore just modulation effects and a wah
my distortion is ALL amplifier and my OCD pedal is simply for occasional boost..
if i sound like B/S fanboy…well i am - these amps have been the ticket for me and have shown to be
extremely road worthy

enough preaching - just wanted to say hi to any of my ole buddies from the early days on here and to say thanks to Blackstar crew for building great amps - maybe i'll swing by more often

sorry if this is the wrong place to put this - if so…..sue me 8-)

Awesome. I'm a big fan of the HT100, which I play through a 4x12 or a 2x12 loaded with Celestian K-100s. I also have a JVM 210, and am torn as to which amp to use for my next gig.

In any case, my HT 100 has held up great in all my gigs, and the only distortion you need is built right into the amp. Cheers!

That's great to read, and I appreciate the update. I've been gigging with a Club 40 and Stage 60 for about two years, and other than having to replace/upgrade the preamp tubes, nary a problem. Pretty darn happy with Blackstar these days.

And if you would, please pass along any on-the-road tips you might have about these amps.
