Are you considering Blackstar amps or just asking in general?

Consider a HT-1 or even a Fly for TV volumes, but no effects loop (or easy speaker cable removal on Fly for attenuator, but why would you need one anyways).

Did the same with my HT-20 (Vet 30) and replaced the stock tubes with Mullard 12AX7s and Winged C power. It was glorious.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish?? Are you trying to avoid putting the delay in front of the amp?

Usually stomp boxes use the -10db setting.

Apologies...what I meant was to use the 12AY7 on the higher gain channel. On my HT20, I put a 12AY7 in the overdrive channel to reduce the gain onset/change the taper. I wouldn't think it would have much effect on the clean channel. Not sure if the Artisan 15 is similarly configured, but try it in t...

Yep...no problem, although wouldn't you want the gain reduction (or rather taper) to be in V2?
