Re: Which do you recommend ? ID150 or ID260TVP ?

Hands down the ID 260 is the better choice. The tube emulation TVP is what sets it apart from other solid states, even the Core line. I would personally recommend the ID60 combo though over the 260. They sound slightly different with the 260 having less bottom end. Either that or the ID60head and us...

Re: Id15 tvp

Oh it sounds easily twice as good! So basically where I cut it there are still screws on top and bottom that connect to the front and back boards so it's held together by the front and the back. I figured no sense in going too crazy with it sense it's not gonna be housing a speaker anymore anyway. T...

Re: Id15 tvp

It would be easier to turn it into a head than to cut out the right space to fit a 12" speaker tbh. (Celestion Seventy 80 is what the ID412s come with so if you go that route I would use that or a Vintage 30 as these amps are modeled after the Series One which cabs come with V30s). I did this to my ...

Re: No sound on bright and warm clean

Sounds like it's a preamp tube. They're cheap and replaceable without biasing so you can do it on your own. Just use a paper towel or something when touching the tubes. When I got mine my buddy gave me a few used JJ 12ax7s to put in and I did but same thing but opposite, od1 and od2 didn't work. Swa...

Re: ID Core 100 vs ID 260 TVP ?

The 260TVP is without a doubt the better amp. TVP gives the headroom and feel of an actual tube amp and hangs in the mix even the best tube amps. Honestly I've had the HT tube amps and ID TVP and the TVP cuts the mix better hands down. I believe its because the TVP and that it's modeled after the Se...

ID:15 turned into a head loud enough to gig?

Hey guys I was thinking of turning a ID15 into a head but wanted to make sure it would be loud enough to gig with. Can anyone help? I know the 30 is plenty loud enough I just want the smallest package possible that includes TVP which I love. Those core amps don't do it for me.

Re: Blackstar Series 1046l6 + GT100

I have the same amp except with POD HD500. I run with 4 cable method (google to find out how to run cables its easy) and a midi cable for channel switching. There will be a little bit of a learning curve to learn your unit to understand how to have the effect in the right places but as far as integr...

Re: Noise from ID:30 TVP

It could be dirty power. Try picking up a Furman Power conditioning Power Strip. I have found that it cuts the noise quite a bit and in turn gives a cleaner sounding tone as well.

Re: ID 60 TVP Head output to PC speaker

If your speakers have an aux input you would just need to run a 1/4 cable from the Emulated Output from the back of the head to the aux input with a 1/4"-1/8" adapter. Or visa versa 1/8 cable with a 1/8"-1/4" adapter to plug into the Em. Out.
