Re: noisy effects loop after upgrade to insider 1.61

Hi TheMonkii, I have not been able to solve this. I have tried my boss GT6 on the 4 cable method but impossible to use because of the noise. My main frustration is that I want to use my volume pedal in the effects loop so that I can have a lower volume without affecting the amount of distortion, but...

Re: INSIDER Won't install... At all

Hi Gary, in the past I have had difficulty installing insider.Even though I completely removed unsuccessful installations and all the leftover crap. On an old XP PC the only way I could install was to use VirtualBox running a fresh copy of my XP. Insider installed OK on this. Lately on a new PC runn...

insider 1.6 disaster

I foolishly updated my insider software to 1.6 and my ID60 firmware. The firmware updated successfully but insider did not show access to my effects loop to turn on or off. What is worse the Midi on the amp no longer works. My Midi controller is now usless. I uninstalled insider 1.6 and have tried t...

Re: saving patches to library - probs this time round

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I was using XP with no problem. I am now using Win 8.1 and have the same issue. The only thing I do now is to download a number of patches in one go the close and re-open insider to see them.

Re: Multiple problems gigging with ID60 head

Hi guys, having just experienced some of the same issues, ie noisy effects loop and excessive noise when master turned above 9 O Clock, I had the amp exchanged under warranty. New amp is great with none of the issues. Probably a faulty amp. Dont struggle with it get it seen to under warranty.

Re: Noise issues with the effects loop?

Re previous post about noise issues with effects loop. Andertons Music exchanged the amp with no problem. New amp is great. No noise with effects loop whatsoever. Also the old amp was noisy when master volume turned above 9.00 O Clock. New amp does not have this issue. My conclusion is that any exce...

Re: Noise issues with the effects loop?

Hi, bought an Ernie Ball volume pedal and plugged it into the effects loop for first time today. Unable to use it because of excessive noise. Changed cables and still the same. FS10 footswitch was unplugged so that was not the cause. The noise increased as I reduced the volume of the pedal until it ...

Re: Blackstar software help

Hi, discovered a workaround on the unofficial Blackstar forum which works. Use Virtualbox to create a virtual machine running your OS and run Insider on this. This works for me running XP on the VM.
