Re: HT Stage 60 Castors?

I put castors on my Backstair 4x12 cabinet, which I purchased through Musician's Friend, if I recall correctly. I assume they are the same size as the castors for the HT 60.

Re: prs se tremonti custom and blackstar id 15tvp

ive just soved the problem to some extent , by using a good guitar cable, a planet waves custom, instead of a cheaper one, it has brightened up the tone somehow, lesson learned by good guitar cables. Awesome. One more thing to consider. One thing that a lot of people ignore -- putting on a new set ...

Re: prs se tremonti custom and blackstar id 15tvp

I don't think anyone can confirm that such a pedal will solve your tone issue. I'm a little surprised that you are having a difficult time dialing in the tone you want with an ID amp. These amps have so many tone options that you can dial in pretty much any tone you are looking for. The thought of a...

Great song! My band plays that song. You can definitely get that tone with an ID. Try dialing back the gain.

Re: Trouble with a Soloist 60

I have multiple Blackstar amps (Series One 200, ID60, HT100, ID Core 20), and they all have been reliable. But, that's not to say you can't run into a problematic one, and one of the reasons to be cautious when buying used. Here is a link from the Blackstar website that lists the US service provider...

Re: is it new tube time?

It's hard to tell based on the limited description, but putting on new guitar strings will liven up the tone dramatically. I was experiencing the same thing with my Marshall. So I put on a set of new strings, and the amp just came alive.

Congrats guys. The HT series are excellent amps. I've played many gigs with my HT100. Never let me down.

Re: ID-412 vs HT-412

I have an HT 4x12 and 2x12, and both cabinets are made of MDF. They are sturdy and well made, but the 70/80 speakers were not to my liking. I swapped them out with Celestion K-100s for the low end growl, and they work great with the HT100 head.

Re: Id:core 20 X Id:core BEAM

I don't think there are a lot of people who would own both the ID Core and the Beam, and hence the reason you have not gotten a response. I have the Core 20, and it serves its purpose as a practice amp, and have no need for a Beam. I also believe it has full range speakers, so it sounds pretty good ...
