Re: blackstar id100 tvp 80%happy

I'm using a midi floor controller with mine but also have the blackstar footswitch. (Rocktron Midi buddy and Rocktron Raider).
Still have the latency channel switching issues with either.
Feel like I've been "had" by a Used Car Salesman.

Channel switching latency

Decided to try out one of the blackstar footswitches with the IDTVP60. Don't know if it normal or not,, but there's a long time period(latency) to switch between patches. Having to stomp buttons a couple of beats ahead just to keep up in a song. Hope this isn't the norm,, perhaps addressed in a firm...

Re: Blackstar Insider - working for you?

Thanks for posting! I've been experiencing the same issue. Everytime I download a patch I get a bunch of errors,, then finally locks up the insider software. Delete the downloaded file and all is good again. Emailed Blackstar a few days ago. Zero response..... Guess it's just another company launchi...

Re: Blackstar HT-40 Upgrade

Speaker changes are always going to make a larger change in tone than tube swaps. More defined and crisp usually means more upper mids. I'd probably be looking at something like a Vintage 30 or similar clone. Preamp tubes 2nd on the list,, and Power tubes 3rd. Guitar pickups can make a huge differen...

Re: ID:FS10 Footswitch Availability

Nothing against the FS10  ,, Other than wishing it came with the amp :x One big advantage of a midi footcontroller is that in a single layout: You can have both saved presets and toggles(CC commands) to switch on/off effects, tap tempo etc. No need to scroll or change modes. There are other...

Re: ID:FS10 Footswitch Availability

For just a few bucks more you can just get a midi controller. Any of them will work, Midibuddy, Midimate, Behringer etc.

Re: Anyone here? .. anyone else got one

What do you guy's think of the volume level of the ID 60 ??
Loud enough to keep up with a drummer in a live situation ? Debating on if I should get the 100w version to make sure I have enough clean headroom for gigs.
