Fly 3 Mini Amp

This is the best sounding mini battery amp I've played so far. You get great tones out of it from your better guitars. I did not know what section to post this in so I figured since it is solid state like the ID Series maybe I should post about the Fly here. I really like the way the built in delay ...

Re: OD pedal for HT-1

Today I was playing my Highway One Telecaster with my HT-1. I used an Electro Harmonix East River Drive which worked out just great. This is a perfect bedroom amp when used with the gear I just posted. I have not tried out my TS808 or a Bad Monkey on it yet. i like all three of these overdrives. The...

Re: Raven RC-112

I opened up the back of the Raven cabinet and show' nuff' Celestian G12P 80! Why couldn't Raven email that back to me, I'll never know! The entire cabinet is particle board! I got it pretty cheap just the same. The speaker is not bad for what I'm using it for. Mostly used with low-watt amps.

Re: Your thoughts on the HT-1

Mine truly boogies. When I plug it into a 12" closed back 8 ohm cab it sounds sensational. A perfect bedroom combo with stylish classy looks to boot.

Artisan 15 Combo

Here in the USA, these amps are very expensive. The reviews I've read on them are all excellent. My curiousity is stirred by these reviews. One observation was that they are also very loud. I like the fact that they go down to 5 watts class A setting as well. I would like to check one of these out i...

Re: Getting the HT-1R high gain sound from a pedal

Instead of throwing dirt in there, you might consider using a booster to further push it a bit.

Re: Favorite Guitar For HT-1

That Carvin is one pretty blue guitar! Nice job on that cabinet also! For a single watt these things are awesome! I've played a number of the Marshall one watters and, purchased the JTM1H and, the HT-1 to my ear sounded alot like one of the JCM1H I demoed. The JCM1H is a little more tweakable than t...

Favorite Guitar For HT-1

I find whatever guitar I've plugged into my HT-1 sounds pretty good. I use a Fender Highway One Telecaster alot on it also. Most recently I've purchased a 2008 series Gibson Les Paul Standard and, now this is my favorite guitar for this amp! I know that I'm in the honeymoon stage with the guitar but...

Re: Blackstar Series One 6L6-Pre Amp Tubes

With all due respect, 6L6 are power tubes not pre-amp tubes. I know because I got some in my Super Reverb.

Blackfire 200 Gus G model

There is a small run of these being made. I read up on them in Guitar World. The first Blackstar signature model. It can play between 20 to 200 watts. I bet this thing is awesome. Only 225 examples of them are made. They have four selected KT88 power tubes in them. They are going to go for $2499.99 ...
