Re: Good fuzz pedals for ID series

Thank you Garhel. I'm trying to find a pedal that responds to my guitar volume basically. I'm having way too much fun with my BD-2 into a clean channel - when I push the gain on the BD-2 just past 12 o'clock then at full volume I have this beautiful bluesy distorted tone - when I dial my volume back...

Re: Good fuzz pedals for ID series

Doesn't anyone use a fuzz? I can't get that dirty fat tone with the internal channels which I can dial back with my guitar volume. I can get a great blues tone with my BD-2 which rolls of beautifully and I'd love the same with a dirtier fuzz face type pedal.

Thanks, James

Good fuzz pedals for ID series

Hi guys, I've only seen one thread where people talk about using a Fuzz into an ID amp ( https://www.blackstaramps.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=3849&p=23406&hilit=fuzz#p23406 ) and there Garhel talks about using it only on a clean channel or it breaks up badly. This would seem to be the opposite a...

Re: ID100 TVP - ID FS10 - BOSS RC-3 LOOPER

it's because you're switching to a patch with a distorted channel and your clean loop is going through that channel. I beleive you would have to keep it on a clean channel and use a distortion pedal, that way your clean intro would stay clean but you would know be playing with distortion. another o...

Re: My ID 100 with modded 4x12 and Westone Prestige

I used to use a 1980 Marshall JMP 100W all valve head, but I managed to replicate the sound on my ID 100 :) I a-b switched them and genuinely couldn't tell the difference if i was on a or b in the end. The Marshall is now sold, and I'm now a full time Blackstar player yeeehaaa. If you'd like the se...

Re: ID:30 Delay - only single repeats?

Thanks both for your help. I didn't know that the selector knob also controlled that delay effect thanks for that. Still having trouble with Insider software but will download the update and (and last version) and see if that helps. Meanwhile amp performing much better now thanks to you both.

Re: ID:30 Delay - only single repeats?

Thanks for the reply - it would be great if I could get into Insider but at the moment it only wants me to see the pop up window about the new version and I can't get read of it!!!!! I'm getting really fed up with this interface - the amp sounds great, loud and I love the tone but if I can't use the...

ID:30 Delay - only single repeats?

Hi guys, it's been a while since I did anything other then add some tremolo or reverb to my clean amp sounds on my ID:30 but recently I wanted to start playing with delay and so I was surprised to find that linear, analogue and tape are all a single repeat of the played note, multi is two. I read el...

Re: ID60 how long is delay when switching with footswitch?

I have the ID30 and the dedicated FS-10 footswitch (the 30 and 15 don't have MIDI connectivity) and there is no delay in using that switch to change between patches or to switch either of the three effects (MOD, REF, DLY) on or off.

Re: ID: series strong damping effect

Sorry I'm late to the party guys but I have an ID:30 and I can't hear anything wrong with its crunch and super crunch channels. Running on the latest version of software and tested with my Epi Les Paul plus top and the sustain is great. I don't get as much out of my Fender tele of course but it's st...
