Re: amp repair!

Yes it is normal. Some may take longer then others. Matter of fact depending where you purchased the Amp & what country you are in..... It could take up to a month or more. Believe it or Not. At least that was the case with My amp purchased in the U.S. Where did you by it? Also if you are not in Eng...

Re: Blackstar HT40 Hum Problems

If you still continue to get to much of a hum after bringing it in. You could buy one of these. They work pretty well. Plus they are always handy to have in the bag just in case. Especially in those certain Bars. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HumX/?utm_source=MSN&utm_medium=PPC&utm_ca...

Re: HT Stage 60 Volume Dropping Out

Well we can all keep guessing........ :D I would take the back off & take a look in there. Make sure the tubes are all seated properly. Obviously unplug the amp. Don`t put your hand inside the chassis. It is a small chance. but maybe you will get lucky. Wiggle them in circular motion while pushing t...

Re: blackstar ht40 cracking in standby

Turn your amp to standby without Plugging your guitar in. Listen for the crackling noise. If it is still making noise could be a few problems. Not sure If you have any kind of warranty at all. But I had this same exact thing happen on a brand new amp. Which took forever to get back. It is a long sto...

Re: Poor Customer Service

Totally have to agree with Don G. I thought his post was dead on. May not want to be what some would like to hear. But I think it is fairly accurate & honest. As for Blackstar &their authorized dealers, schematics ETC. This is just another area where the customer can get hosed. I don`t want to go in...

Re: HT 40 VS Stage 60

I have not changed my speakers. I agree that sound may be a bit different. There are other factors to consider. Such as -did you bring in & play your guitar with the amp. Or something as close to what you play? Also speakers need to be broken in. So if you decide to purchase the Amp. I would play wi...

Re: HT 40 VS Stage 60

Have a guy willing to sell me a soloist 60 for about 5 bills- only one speaker to upgrade and can always get an extension cab to run with it, but no third channel. Do any of you guys really use both gain channels in band situations? I use my HT-60 in a band. I also make use of all 3 channels. But d...
