Re: Changing EQ without USB ID60TVPH

Sorry I'm late to the game... Adding some high's to the eq from a preset using a "Midi" controller is stupid simple. First thing is program one of your midi controller buttons to send , CC 119 . This will now become your permanent "save" button rather than using anything on the amp or insider. So wh...

Re: ID 60 , Delay Tab flashbutton not Sync.

There's a software bug in the amp's firmware for sure. Most of the bugs I found were all timing related between the chorus and delay. They especially showed up when using the midi functions and presets.

Re: Preset Patches

It can be confusing at first. There are indeed 128 preset positions on the AMP . When the amp comes from the factory, they've stored 12 different presets, and then repeated them over and over to fill up all 128 positions. The confusing part is that the buttons on the face of the amp only allow you t...

Re: TC Electronic HyperGravity Compressor

If compressors are your thing, you might find this website useful.
http://www.ovnilab.com/
Takes a while to get thru all the information on the website but it's very extensive.
I bought a MXR M87 after reading the (Top Picks) link at the top of the page......

Re: TC Electronic HyperGravity Compressor

Hey Kidd, Haven't tried the TC compressor (yet) I'm sure it's great as I'm a big TC fan. On the other hand I'm a pretty devout compressor user including with the I.D. amp. At the moment my favorite is the Suhr. (In front of the amp) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX6pmAmV3NI I use a compr...

Re: Is anyone actually happy with their ID series amp?

Good idea,,, Poorly executed. While most of the people complain about the problems with "Insider", My issue is with all the "Firmware" bugs in the amp itself. The FS-10 issues and Midi issues are related to the amps software not "Insider". Of course if your one of the users who never uses all the fe...

Re: Settings for a sound similar to the HT100H?

I've got an ID and HT. On the ID make sure the preamp volume is turned up at least halfway or higher.. This seems to add/model the saturation and sustain you'd expect from cranked tubes, regardless of the gain setting. 2nd thing is speakers. Don't know what your using, but the stock ID speakers lose...

Re: Let's talk Blackstar Series One

Yes there's volume differences between channels. There's 2 ways I handle it. 1) With any multichannel amp you pick the lowest output volume channel and set it up first. You crank that channel volume near max. Then you proceed to set your other channel volumes to match the 1st channel. Once you have ...

Re: Let's talk Blackstar Series One

I agree that shared EQ on channels sounds fine in a lot of situations, especially if your content with a single "Core" tone. On the other hand,,, if your gigging diverse tones in a cover band situation and switching guitars etc, having separate controls and taking advantage of the midi capability (p...
