Re: Tube Swap in Blackstar HT Dual.
Thanks for the reply. I saw that it was safer for the circuit by the back, but I was more worried about safer for me . That is, is there any stored voltage in the pedal after unplugging to worry about, as with the caps in a tube amp, especially if I am going in from the front and "maintaining" the ...

Re: Tube Swap in Blackstar HT Dual.
Greetings. I just signed up for the forum. I love my HT-Dual pedal and am awaiting delivery on an HT5 head. I was wondering if there is any shock risk with changing the tube on the Dual, either from the front or the back, even with the unit unplugged. Anyone? Hi !! It has been said just in this top...

Re: Advice sought from Artisan 30 users on lead sounds
When you have a good amp, the best way to have a massive and organic solo sound is just a boost....as clear as possible, from a crunch sound. I use my artisan on the second channel, 2nd mode, and with the gain at 3/4 or more. If i want a clean, i use the guitar volume. If you want a solo, just use a...

Re: Blackstar HT-5 Tube Swap
OK, my amp guy, who has been doing this for over 40 years and is actually very well known in the amp community as the designer of several well-regarded tube amps, told me this. There is a tremendous amount of variation of current flow from brand to brand, model to model, and NOS and new generation ...

Re: Blackstar HT-5 Tube Swap
It's what i had understant, no Blackstar Amp is self-biased, each power valve replacement will need a rebiasing.
But as there is no information about the measures we should have....how did your technician for yours ? He measure the levels before changing and biased the same levels for the new ones ??
